Job summary

Mercy Hospital South is seeking an RN Clinical Supervisor for Inpatient Med/Surg East to oversee staffing, clinical guidance, and patient care delivery. The role emphasizes collaboration with physicians and staff to meet quality and efficiency goals.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of direct patient care experience, an active Missouri RN license, and BLS. A BSN and prior supervisory experience are strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN license or temporary permit in the state of Missouri.
• Minimum of 2–3 years of direct patient care experience.
• Active BLS CPR Certification through the American Heart Association.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Active RN license in good standing (if not already listed above).
• Prior supervisory or management experience strongly preferred.
• Experience in a Med/Surg setting is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of operations and patient care in designated areas.
• Serve as a clinical resource for staff and patients in the department.
• Functions as a staff nurse in the department as needed.
• Assume managerial duties delegated by a manager.
• Perform duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.
