Job summary

LanceSoft seeks an Inpatient Manager for the Medical Surgical Unit in Grand Junction, CO. The role oversees daily unit operations, leads nursing staff, and ensures compliance with hospital standards. Eligible candidates hold a BSN, Colorado RN license, and have leadership experience in Med-Surg.

This full-time exempt position offers on-call leadership rotation, relocation assistance, and a sign-on bonus up to $20,000. Relocation support available. Immediate start possibility.

Qualifications

• BSN required.
• MSN preferred.
• Active, unrestricted RN license (Colorado).
• 3–5 years leadership in Med-Surg or similar.
• BLS & ACLS required prior to hire.
• PALS & TNCC/TCAR required within 6 months.
• CCRN, PCCN preferred.
• NE-BC required within 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily leadership and operational oversight of the Medical Surgical Unit.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory standards, and quality benchmarks.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop nursing staff.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, and workforce planning.
• Partner with leadership and HR on recruitment, onboarding, and retention.
• Conduct performance evaluations and implement improvement plans.
• Oversee staff education, training, and competency programs.
• Assist with budget planning and cost control initiatives.
• Maintain readiness for Joint Commission and CMS audits.
• Participate in leadership on-call rotation.
• Support bedside care as needed.
• Monitor and improve nurse-sensitive quality indicators.
• Collaborate across departments and manage float pool resources.

Location: Grand Junction, CO
Hourly Pay: $53.00 – $60.95 (based on experience)
Sign-On Bonus: Up to $20,000 + Relocation assistance available
