Job summary

PAM Health Specialty Hospital of San Antonio is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our LTACH/Med Surg unit. You will deliver essential nursing care under an RN, gathering data, reporting findings, and executing orders in accordance with PAM Health policies.

The LVN/LPN provides nursing care, data collection, and therapeutic procedures for patients, following unit guidelines.

Qualifications

• Holds current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse / Licensed Vocational Nurse in the state where the hospital resides.
• Current BLS certification required.
• One year of inpatient medial-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care as directed by an RN on the nursing unit.
• Gather and report data, carry out orders, and perform therapeutic procedures for patients in an age and population-appropriate manner.
