Job summary

Lima Memorial Health System invites applications for an LPN to support inpatient care. The role partners with RNs to collect data, implement and evaluate nursing care, and delegate tasks to LPN/PCT teammates. On-call response within sixty minutes is required.

Strong customer service, EMR skills, and ability to work under pressure are essential. Graduate of an accredited nursing program with BLS; ACLS required or obtained within 6 months. 1–3 years of direct inpatient care preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (LPN).
• BLS required; ACLS required or obtained within 6 months of hire.
• On-call availability within 60 minutes.
• 1–3 years of direct inpatient care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect data, implement and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients.
• Provide care under supervision of a Registered Nurse and delegate tasks to LPN/PCT teammates.
• Be prepared to cover in other departments as needed.
