Job summary

Nebraska Medicine in Omaha seeks an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for the APP Internal Medicine Solid Organ Transplant Infectious Disease service. This is an inpatient, first-shift role (8-5, M-F) with 3-4 weekends and 1-2 holidays per year.

Provide comprehensive care under supervising physician, participate in procedures, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. Requires NP or PA qualifications, state licenses, and APRN/PA certification; DEA and BLS; EMR

Qualifications

• Master's degree in nursing required.
• Current RN license in Nebraska or compact state.
• APRN license required.
• Appropriate certification: AGPCNP-BC, ANP-BC or FNP-BC.
• DEA licensure required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide Comprehensive care to individuals and families with Infectious Diseases under supervision.
• Diagnose medical conditions, plan and implement interventions, evaluate patient responses.
• Perform and assist with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Collaborate with supervising physician and multidisciplinary team.
