Allegheny Health Network is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for an inpatient Hospitalist role in Pittsburgh, PA. The position requires working 24/7 coverage with acute care responsibilities in a high-volume hospital setting.

Qualifications

MSN from an approved State Board of Nursing Master’s program
National Board Certification for Nurse Practitioners
Active practicing NP licensure with prescriptive authority or PA license with board certification
DEA licensure within 60 days of hire
CPR and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association)

Responsabilités

Provide comprehensive inpatient care for acute patients with daily rounds and treatment plans.
Order, interpret, and evaluate labs and imaging to guide therapy and diagnoses.
Collaborate with attending physicians and care teams; document in EMR for coding and reporting.
Institute emergency measures and ensure safe stabilization in critical events.
Educate patients and families; coordinate discharge planning and ensure continuity of care.
