Job summary

Southern Regional Medical Center in Riverdale, GA, seeks an Inpatient Pharmacist (PRN) to prepare, dispense, and manage medications for hospital patients under supervision. The role is per diem with variable hours. Active pharmacist license in Georgia and hospital experience are preferred, with B.S.

Qualifications

• Current state pharmacist license.
• Experience in hospital pharmacy operations preferred.
• BS in Pharmacy required; PharmD preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interview patients to obtain medication histories at admission or transfer.
• Review physician orders for appropriateness, dosing, and interactions.
• Ensure orders comply with hospital protocols and patient factors.
• Prepare and dispense medications including IV admixtures and controlled substances.
• Monitor therapies and provide recommendations to optimize outcomes.
