Job summary

TRU Community Care is seeking an Inpatient Unit Resource Nurse in Longmont, CO, to provide compassionate, patient-centered care on a Hospice Inpatient Unit on the 4th floor of CommonSpirit Longmont United Hospital. You will serve as an additional nurse based on census, reporting when census is 5 or more and receiving on-call and hourly pay.

Responsibilities include delivering nursing care in an inpatient setting, incorporating patient and family goals, and promoting dignity, comfort, and quality

Qualifications

• 2+ years of nursing experience
• Current RN license in Colorado
• CPR certification or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in an inpatient hospital setting
• Incorporate patient and family preferences into the plan of care
• Respect patient and family diversity, including spiritual and cultural beliefs
• Educate patients and families on care, medications, procedures, safety, nutrition, disease processes
