Status: Full-time

Shift: 7 am - 7:30 pm, with every other weekend required

Responsibilities

Job Summary:

Under supervision of a licensed nurse, provides nursing care aligned with hospice philosophy, policies, and procedures. Responsible for meeting patients’ daily needs, responding to call lights, and managing patients’ clothing, personal property, and environment. Uses supplies, linen, and equipment efficiently.

Duties:

• Provide compassionate end-of-life care
• Accurately record vital signs, weight, intake/output, and other measurements
• Assist with all Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
• Document care in residents’ charts per protocol
• Respond promptly to call lights
• Practice infection control and standard precautions
• Secure residents’ clothing and personal property according to routines

Requirements
