Job summary

HopeHealth is seeking an experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join its hospice team at Hulitar Center in Providence. This is a full-time 36-hour night shift (7:00 pm–7:30 am) that requires every fourth weekend and includes eligibility for benefits.

The CNA provides personal care to hospice patients, follows the established plan of care, and observes and documents patient status. You will support patients, families, and caregivers through ongoing communication and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Certified Nurse Aide certification is required.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1–3 years of CNA experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides personal care to patients.
• Observes, reports, and documents patient status and the care provided.
• Provides support to patient, family and caregivers through ongoing communication.
• Follows basic infection control procedures.
• Recognizes and reports changes in patient's status to IPU RN.

About This Hospice Aide (CNA) Position

HopeHealth Hospice and Palliative Care is seeking an experienced CNA to join its dynamic and caring hospice team.

This position will provide care to hospice patients at our inpatient Hulitar Hospice Center.

The duties of a hospice aide are planned and assigned by a registered nurse to meet patient and family needs.

The hospice aide provides personal care in accordance with the established plan of care.
