Job summary

UT Health East Texas is hiring a full-time Heart Failure Nurse Practitioner to join our Heart Failure department in Tyler. Inpatient only care, schedule Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, 30+ patients per week, and one Sunday call rotation each month.

You will work with one experienced heart failure surgeon and two advanced practice providers to deliver coordinated, high-quality care in a busy academic-leaning hospital network.

Qualifications

• Inpatient care experience preferred
• APRn license in Texas or compact
• Strong collaboration and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient heart failure care as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Manage 30+ patients per week in an inpatient setting
• Participate in the Sunday call rotation (1 per month)
