Job summary

Bournewood Hospital in Brookline, MA is seeking an Inpatient Group Therapist to provide therapeutic services in an inpatient setting. Responsibilities

• Facilitate structured group therapy sessions for patients with mental health conditions and SUDs.
• Develop and implement therapeutic interventions tailored to inpatient groups.
• Conduct assessments to determine group treatment plans and monitor progress.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses, social workers and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate documentation in EMR per policy and standards.
• Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation when needed.
• Educate patients on coping strategies, emotional regulation, and relapse prevention.
