Job summary

MUSC Health - Florence Medical Center is seeking a BC/BE Gastroenterologist to start an inpatient-only service. The role includes seven-on-seven-off scheduling and 100% inpatient responsibilities, with endoscopy access on site.

Employed by MUSC Health System with faculty appointment and strong academic resources. ERCP/EUS experience is preferred but not mandatory, hospitalist and intensivist support available, Epic EMR in use.

Qualifications

• Board certification or eligibility in gastroenterology is required.
• Inpatient gastroenterology service experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• ERCP and EUS experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Provide 100% inpatient gastroenterology consults.
• Perform inpatient endoscopy as part of the service.
• Collaborate with GI practice including other GI physicians and NPs.
