Job summary

University of Minnesota Physicians (M Physicians) seeks a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to provide inpatient GI consults at the MHealth University of Minnesota Medical Center campuses. You will work with gastroenterologists and advanced practice providers to manage a range of GI disorders.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Adult Nurse Practitioner program.
• Eligible or certified through NCCPA, ANCC or AANP.
• Licensed or eligible for MN license and prescriptive authority via MN boards.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient GI consult services for General Gastroenterology and Advanced Endoscopy/Pancreaticobiliary.
• Collaborate with gastroenterologists and advanced practice providers to care for GI patients.
• Provide independent clinical decisions within licensed scope and ensure continuity of care.
