LocumTenens.com seeks a board-certified general surgeon to cover inpatient 24-hour shifts at an established North Carolina health system. The assignment runs October 9–12 and December 23–28, with call required and no clinic duties.

Shifts run from 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM, with roughly 15 patients per day and 8–16 OR cases per week, all on-site and focused on acute surgical care of diverse patients.

Qualifications

• Board certification in general surgery is required.
• Inpatient assignment with 24-hour shift coverage.
• Call coverage is required.

Responsabilités

• Provide 24-hour inpatient call coverage for general surgery at an established health system facility.
• Perform emergent general surgery procedures such as appendectomy and cholecystectomy; approximately 15 patients per day and 8–16 OR cases per week.
