Millwood Hospital provides a complete continuum of inpatient and outpatient mental health and chemical dependency treatment to children, adolescents, adults, and senior adults. Our outpatient centers offer a short-term, outpatient treatment alternative in Arlington, Fort Worth, and Lewisville.

Position Highlights

1. Role: Inpatient General Psychiatrist
2. Caseload Flexibility: Choose between an all-adult or mixed adult and adolescent caseload.
3. Flexible Work Arrangements: Full-time preferred; Part-time/PRN option available, allowing for work-life balance.
4. Manageable Caseload: 10-15 encounters per day, ensuring focused and personalized care.
5. Patient Population: Mixed caseload of children/adolescents and adults.
6. Primary Duties: Initial psychiatric evaluations, assessments, treatment team leadership, and patient discharges.
7. Outpatient PHP Optional: Available via telehealth for additional patient volume (not required).
8. No Weekends: Enjoy a schedule with no weekend requirements, promoting a healthy work-life balance.
9. Leadership Opportunities: Optional Unit Directorship and monthly stipend available.
10. Independent Contractor: 1099 Independent Contractor preferred, providing autonomy in your practice.

Qualifications

1. Education: MD/DO degree from an accredited program.
2. Certifications: BC/BE in General Psychiatry (required); BC/BE Child Adolescent Psychiatry (preferred).
3. Licensure: Current Texas physician/medical license or ability to obtain, in good standing.
4. Credentialing: Meet all credentialing criteria required by participating physicians.
