Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking skilled Registered Nurses to join the Inpatient Medical Surgical Float Pool at our main campus. You will rotate through Oncology, Telemetry, Post-Surgical, Orthopedic, Trauma Step Down and General Medicine units, performing essential care such as IV placement, blood draws, and wound care.

Ideal candidates hold Ohio RN licensure with BLS certification; PRN roles require 1 year of relevant RN experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current Ohio RN licensure.
• BLS (AHA) certification or obtained within 90 days of hire; 1 year inpatient RN experience.
• PRN requires 1 year of relevant RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide IV placement, blood draws, and Foley catheter care.
• Care for Tracheostomy, NG placement, PEG tube, drains, and wound care.
• Demonstrate time management, critical thinking, and delegation skills.
• Collaborate with LPNs, PCNAs, Nurse Interns, Providers, PT/OT, WOCN.
• Float to Oncology, Telemetry, Post-Surgical, Orthopedic, Trauma Step Down, General Medicine units.
