Job summary

Lancaster Behavioral Health Hospital is seeking an experienced Expressive Arts Therapist to join our inpatient team. You will develop and implement therapy plans, facilitate groups, and maintain clinical documentation aligned with trauma-responsive care and recovery principles.

Qualifications include Masters level licensure in Art Therapy or Dance Movement (or equivalent), Board Certification/Registration in Music or Recreational Therapy, and weekend availability.

• Board certification/registration in Music Therapy or Recreational Therapy preferred.
• Weekend availability required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement expressive therapy treatment plans that are age appropriate and aligned with treatment goals.
• Facilitate patient groups that are well prepared and beneficial to clients.
• Maintain the clinical and administrative documentation associated with performed services.
• Apply trauma-responsive care principles in daily interactions with patients and families.
• Contribute to treatment planning and discharge planning for patients.

Education

Master’s Degree in Art Therapy or Dance Movement

Bachelor’s Degree with Board Certification in Music Therapy or Recreational Therapy
