Job summary

Medical University of South Carolina seeks an Inpatient EEG Unit Leader to support the Clinical Neurophysiology Services department and related centers. The role focuses on achieving clinical and quality targets, improving operations, and guiding staff and patient care under limited supervision.

Ideal candidates hold a CAAHEP-endorsed END program, are ABRET-registered, and have 3+ years EEG experience with current BLS certification. This is an hourly, regular full-time position at MUSC.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a CAAHEP accredited END technology program or equivalent.
• Requires ABRET EEG Technician registration and maintenance.
• Three years EEG Technician work experience required.
• Current BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross) required.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient EEG Unit Leader reports to EEG Coordinator and supports Clinical Neurophysiology Services, ICCE and Medical Center goals.
• Acts as a mentor and resource for staff and patients; promotes clinical quality and operational efficiency.
