Responsibilities

• Engages in councils, governance and quality initiatives to improve care and apply best practices.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care with patients and families.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts plans and collaborates with the care team.
• Upholds a culture of safety and ensures timely documentation in EHR.
• May float to other units to meet patient care needs while maintaining age-based competencies.
