Intermountain Health Layton Hospital seeks a Registered Dietitian to join a collaborative nutrition team in inpatient clinical care. The role emphasizes autonomy, nutrition assessment, and interdisciplinary rounds in a community hospital setting.

The PRN position offers scheduling flexibility with 5–7 hour shifts, 2 shifts per week, no weekends, and no on-call duties, plus a $1,250 sign-on bonus. 1–2 years of clinical experience preferred; master’s degree and licensure required where applicable.

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration or registration eligible.
• If hired in registration eligible status, pass the RD credentialing exam within 6 months of hire.
• Master’s degree required for registration eligible graduates after Jan 1, 2024.
• Completion of ACEND accredited Didactic Program in Dietetics, Dietetic Internship, Coordinated Program, or graduate-level program.

Responsabilités

• Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments and reassessments.
• Utilize the Nutrition Care Process (NCP).
• Diagnose and monitor malnutrition.
• Develop and manage enteral and parenteral nutrition support plans.
• Provide individualized nutrition education to patients and families.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing, pharmacy, and culinary services.
• Participate in quality improvement and evidence-based practice initiatives.
