Job summary

Providence Medford Medical Center seeks an inpatient Dietitian to assess nutritional needs, implement medical nutrition therapy, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes.

You will develop individualized care plans using the Nutrition Care Process and provide counseling to patients and families in a compassionate healthcare environment. Growth opportunities include advancement to Sr. Dietitian in the department.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Dietetics or related area from a U.S. regionally accredited college or university.
• National CDR Registered Dietitian certification and Oregon Dietitian License within 6 months of hire.
• 1 year experience with adult learning theory in nutrition education.
• 1 year experience with nutrition management of multiple disease states.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient clinical nutrition care by assessing nutritional needs and implementing medical nutrition therapy.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve patient-centered nutrition goals.
• Utilize NCPT to develop and evaluate nutrition care plans and diagnoses.
• Offer medical nutrition therapy and counseling to patients, families, and communities.
• Progress opportunities include advancement to Sr. Dietitian within the department.
