Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nutrition with ACEND supervised practice required or soon to be.
• RD licensure or eligibility with registration expected within 180 days of hire.
• Massachusetts licensure within 120 days of registration.

Responsibilities

• Screens hospital patients to prioritize nutrition care.
• Develops nutrition care plans reflecting medical history and labs.
• Interviews patients/families and assesses knowledge of diet.
• Documents assessments and recommendations per guidelines.
• Instructs patients on prescribed diets using educational materials.
• Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team.
• Mentors interns during clinical rotation.
