Sodexo seeks a Clinical Dietitian to support Adventist HealthCare across Shady Grove Medical Center (Rockville), White Oak Medical Center (Silver Spring), and Fort Washington Medical Center. Coverage will be provided at all sites as needed.

Open to experienced registered dietitians and new graduates seeking to build clinical skills in a supportive environment with a focus on evidence-based practice and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in nutrition/dietetics with ACEND supervised practice.
• Or eligible BA degree meeting ACEND requirements before 1/1/2024.
• RD/RDN eligibility and registration within 120 days of hire.
• Must meet state licensure/certification requirements where applicable.
• Management Experience: 0-1 years; Related Experience: 0-3 years

Responsibilities

• Provide nutrition care using the Nutrition Care Process for patients across sites.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality care.
• Deliver evidence-based nutrition counseling and staff training.
• Maintain professional practices aligned with regulatory and company standards.

The role of an individual contributor within the organization focuses on completing specific tasks and projects; contributing directly through their skills and expertise. Pay Range: $67405 per year - $87230 per year

• Deliver nutrition care for patients, residents, and communities as part of a contractual agreement, using the Nutrition Care Process (assessment, diagnosis, intervention, monitoring, and evaluation).

• Act as a nutrition resource for patients, peers, and foodservice staff; collaborate across interdisciplinary teams and departments to ensure safe, high-quality care.

• Provide evidence-based nutrition counseling and training to patients, healthcare staff, students, and foodservice teams, adjusting content for clinical complexity.

Requirements

• Education Requirement:

• Master’s degree in nutrition, dietetics, or related field with required coursework and supervised practice per ACEND guidelines

• OR, for those eligible prior to 1/1/2024: Bachelor’s degree meeting ACEND requirements.

• Related Experience: 0-3 years

• Credentials Requirement:

• Meets eligibility for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) via CDR and will become registered within 120 days of hire

• Must meet state licensure/certification requirements at time of hire where applicable
