Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian to join a dynamic clinical team at SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital – St. Charles.

You’ll support the nutritional well‑being of patients and communities, following evidence‑based practice and collaborating across disciplines. The role emphasizes providing nutrition counseling, adhering to regulatory standards, and contributing to performance improvement in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in nutrition, dietetics, or related field with required coursework and supervised practice per ACEND guidelines.
• OR, for those eligible prior to 1/1/2024: Bachelor’s degree meeting ACEND requirements.
• Meets eligibility for RD/RDN via CDR and will become registered within 120 days of hire.
• Must meet state licensure/certification requirements at time of hire where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nutrition care for patients using the Nutrition Care Process (assessment, diagnosis, intervention, monitoring, and evaluation).
• Act as a nutrition resource for patients, peers, and staff; collaborate across interdisciplinary teams.
• Provide evidence-based nutrition counseling and training to patients, healthcare staff, students, and foodservice teams.
• Maintain professional practices aligned with regulatory standards and Sodexo client commitments.
• Participate in or lead performance improvement initiatives to enhance clinical outcomes and service quality.
• Pursue ongoing professional growth through continuing education and contributions to training or research.

Pay Range:

$56270 per year - $68000 per year

• Education Requirement:
