Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care Des Moines is seeking an entry-level Registered Nurse for the Inpatient Services CAP 1 track. The role provides and coordinates clinically competent care for an assigned patient group, including assessment, planning, and evaluation, with mentoring from the Educator and RN staff.

You will collaborate with the care team, document in the medical record, and participate in quality improvement activities.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current state nursing licensure.
• Current or valid CPR/BLS certification.
• Must meet practice requirements in all states of employment.

Responsibilities

• Performs essential functions under supervision with guidance from Educator or RN.
• Collects and analyzes patient data during dialysis and documents in the medical record.
• Educates patients and families about care plans and treatments.
• Collaborates with health team to ensure safe, effective dialysis care.
• Initiates and coordinates communication with facility staff and physicians.
• Maintains accurate documentation and participates in quality improvement.
