Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Dialysis Program Manager to direct and advance our hemodialysis program within a hospital setting. You will lead and supervise dialysis staff, implement safety-focused policies, and serve as the program's face in hospital leadership and community outreach.

Ideal candidates bring RN licensure, CPR, ACLS within a year, and inpatient hospital or rehab experience. Flexibility for varied shifts and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure as per state regulations.
• CPR certification.
• ACLS within 1 year of hire.
• One year of inpatient hospital experience (preferred).
• One year of dialysis nursing experience (preferred).
• Inpatient rehabilitation experience (preferred).
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and make informed decisions.
• Flexible availability for weekdays, weekends, and evening/night shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Direct and organize the hospital's hemodialysis program.
• Oversee performance of safe and effective hemodialysis following applicable guidelines.
• Supervise dialysis staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Implement policies for safe and effective care.
• Represent the program within hospital management and community settings.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to communicate patient concerns and changes promptly.
