Job summary

The Ohio State University College of Medicine and the Wexner Medical Center seek a Dermatologist to join the Department of Dermatology as an inpatient dermatologist. Academic rank and track commensurate with academic record and experience.

The Division of Inpatient Dermatology is interested in candidates with a strong interest in hospital-based dermatology. Responsibilities include patient care, research, and training residents, fellows, medical students, undergraduate and graduate students,

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited residency program in dermatology.
• MD or DO with or without other advanced degree (MS, PhD, etc.).
• Board eligible/Board certification in Dermatology.
• Must possess or be eligible for licensure in the State of Ohio.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Perform medical and surgical dermatologic procedures.
• Direct and participate in quality assessment and improvement activities.
• Serve as preceptor and bedside training of residents, fellows, medical students, undergraduate and graduate students.
• Serve as a mentor and sponsor of residents, fellows, and faculty in the Department.
• Participate in department, college, medical center and university committees and other service activities.
• Conduct and provide clinical instruction, lectures, seminars, and related educational offerings, both within OSUWMC and at the regional and national level.
• Support clinical and translational research activities and innovation.
• Opportunity to serve as PI or Co-I in grants and/or clinical trials.
