Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation in Temple, TX is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for inpatient care on a full-time basis. The OTA assists in implementing the therapy plan under OT supervision and collaborates with the care team to support patient progress.

Qualifications

Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant.
Certified BLS or completion in first 90 days of employment or as required by state regulations.

Responsibilities

Under supervision of the Occupational Therapist (OT), assists with implementing the therapy plan of care.
Delegates and directs supportive personnel for assigned patients to enhance care.
Maintains communication with supervising OT regarding scheduled patients and assessment needs.
