- Utilize coding conventions and guidelines to assign accurate codes

What is Required (Qualifications):
- RHIA, RHIT, or CCS eligible or currently enrolled in a Health Information Technology or related program
- Minimum 1 year of demonstrated ICD-10-CM coding experience in acute care setting
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology, and medical terminology
- Experience with EPIC health information computerized patient record and 3M encoding system preferred
- AHIMA Certified (CCS, RHIA, or RHIT)
