This individual is also responsible to routinely tracking the incomplete Medicare records awaiting DRG prompter responses. The Coder is responsible for daily maintenance of the unbilled accounts report. Additionally, this individual will work in conjunction with Corporate Compliance department to assure all coding is based on complete and accurate documentation that is reflective of the patient's medical condition and severity of illness. This position may have additional duties assigned that are within scope of the role. **Education / Experience**:High School diploma or equivalent required. Completion of American Health Information Management approved RHIT or RHIA course and/or completion of college level courses in anatomy and physiology and related science courses, preferred.
