OU Health invites applications for an Inpatient Coding Auditor working from home. The role focuses on high‑level inpatient facility coding audits, prebill reviews, and education to improve documentation quality. It requires experience in complex inpatient coding within an academic health system.
Remote eligibility includes residing in OK and surrounding states. Level I–III, depending on experience and certifications, with a comprehensive benefits package and multiple education opportunities.
Position Title: Inpatient Coding Auditor WFH Department: HIM Coders
Remote Eligibility: Candidates must reside and work full‑time in AR, KS, MO, OK, or TX before their first day of employment.
This position may be filled as levels I, II, or III, depending on individual experience, education, certification(s), and business need.
Ideal candidate will have experience in complex inpatient coding at an academic medical center.
Ensures accurate, quality, and compliant Inpatient facility coding through prebill and retrospective audits of coder work and providing targeted education to improve consistency and documentation quality.
Performs other duties as assigned.
