CommonSpirit Health in Centennial, CO seeks an advanced inpatient coder to code and abstract inpatient records for data retrieval, reimbursement and research. You will code across facilities and enter codes into the 3M encoder, navigating our EMR to meet quality and productivity standards.
Candidates should have at least 4 years of inpatient coding experience or 2 years plus internal coding program, and AHIMA or AAPC credentials or be certified within one year. Remote work experience preferred.

This is an advanced level coding position that codes and abstracts Inpatient records for data retrieval, analysis, reimbursement and research. Codes and enters diagnostic and procedure codes into a designated coding and abstracting system utilizing the 3M encoder, as appropriate. Meets quality and productivity coding standards and demonstrates the ability to navigate an EMR. Ability to code across all facilities.
