Adventist Health is seeking a part-time Coding Specialist to review inpatient records and ensure accurate coding compliance. The role requires a high school education, coding experience, and CCS certification. Responsibilities include abstracting diagnosis codes from medical records, generating physician queries, and auditing records for compliance.

Reviews inpatient records to identify the diagnosis and procedure codes performed during the patients stay. Ensures that the records are valid and in accordance with coding conventions and guidelines. Works on routine assignments within defined parameters, following established procedures and receiving daily instructions on work.

Pay Range: $31.41 to $47.07 per hour; additional compensation available through differentials, shift incentives, bonuses, etc.
