VCU Health is seeking a Clinical Social Worker (MSW) to deliver direct patient and family services on the Acute Care Surgical unit at our Main Campus Hospital. The role involves psychosocial assessments, treatment planning, intervention, education, and discharge planning in a fast-paced inpatient setting.

The CSW will collaborate with the care team, supervise students as appropriate, and may work alternate schedules including weekends and holidays.

Qualificações

• MSW degree from a CSWE-accredited program is required.
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical social work experience for CSW Level 2.
• Virginia licensing preferred for continued employment.

Responsabilidades

• Perform psychosocial assessments and develop treatment plans aligned with the health care plan.
• Provide psychosocial interventions and education to patients, families, staff, and students.
• Coordinate discharge planning and community referrals.
• Engage in quality improvement and participate in service area meetings and conferences.
