Job summary

The State of Wyoming invites a licensed psychologist to provide evaluation and psychotherapy to patients at the Wyoming State Hospital. The role includes assessment, individual, group, and family therapies, and administration of psychological testing.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop treatment plans and ensure readiness for discharge and community placement. Requirements include PsyD or PhD in Psychology and licensure or eligibility in Wyoming, with 2–4 years of psychology

Qualifications

• PsyD or PhD in Psychology required.
• Experience with inpatient facilities highly preferred.
• Knowledge of supervision techniques and interdisciplinary planning.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychological evaluation for admission screening, treatment planning, and discharge readiness.
• Diagnose and treat mental and emotional disorders using individual, group, and family therapies.
• Administer and interpret psychological tests, including cognitive and neuropsychological assessments.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to plan patient care and determine courses of action.
• Design, construct, install, and implement treatment programs for units or groups.
