Job summary

UVA Health in Charlottesville, VA seeks a daytime Clinical Pharmacist in Inpatient Acute Care Services to practice at the top of the license, supporting a multidisciplinary team in a Level I Trauma Center. You will verify orders, respond to codes, and provide bedside pharmacotherapy expertise.

This role offers broad exposure to adult patients with high acuity, and a 7 on 7 off schedule with strong clinical autonomy and leadership support.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy degree from ACPE accredited college required (Pharm.D. or B.S. in Pharmacy).
• Virginia State Board of Pharmacy license or eligibility within 60 days of hire.
• AHA Health Care Provider BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Lead hospital-wide medication order verification in Epic for all inpatient units.
• Respond to codes and bedside emergencies with pharmacotherapeutic expertise.
• Provide real-time clinical consultations to nursing staff and providers across specialties.
