Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of ACPE-accredited College/School of Pharmacy with Pharm.D.
• Full, current license to practice pharmacy in the United States
• Proficiency in English (spoken and written)
• Residency or fellowship training preferred
• Experience in inpatient/hospital settings preferred

Responsibilities

• Distributes and dispenses medications with proper labeling and recordkeeping
• Reviews patient medication profiles for safety and efficacy
• Provides pharmacotherapy recommendations to clinicians
• Counsels patients and families on directions, side effects and adherence
• Coordinates medication distribution with pharmacy staff and services
• Participates in quality assurance and education activities
