Qualifications

• Licensed in Georgia or eligible for reciprocity required.
• Immunization and non-vaccine injectable certification required based on area of practice.
• Credentialing and privileging required based on area of practice.

Responsibilities

• Oversees pharmaceutical care, evaluating literature and designing therapy regimens.
• Counsels patients and caregivers on medication therapy, adverse effects, and compliance.
• Designs and monitors patient-specific pharmacotherapeutic regimens.
• Reviews and interprets medication orders and prescriptions accurately.
• Participates in medical emergencies and supports medication safety initiatives.
• Ensures proper storage, handling, and regulatory compliance of medications.
• Mentors pharmacy teammates and oversees workflow quality and safety.
