Job summary

Seton Medical Center Harker Heights is seeking a Pharmacy Clinical Pharmacist for a full-time, variable shift role in Harker Heights, TX. The pharmacist will contribute to safe and cost-effective pharmaceutical care within an acute care setting.

Responsibilities include drug dispensing, IV admixture, and providing drug information under the supervision of the Pharmacy Director/Operations Manager. Inpatient hospital experience is preferred and licensure in good standing is required.

Qualifications

• B.S. or Pharm D. from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy.
• Active Pharmacist license in good standing with the appropriate State Board of Pharmacy.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• ALS/ACLS certification (within 90 days of hire; ALS/ACLS required for attending Code Blue).

Responsibilities

• The clinical pharmacist optimizes patient care by providing appropriate, safe, and cost‑effective pharmaceutical care including drug dispensing, IV admixture program, and providing drug information. Works under the direction of the Director of Pharmacy and/or the Pharmacy Operations Manager and will oversee the work of pharmacy technicians, students, and support staff.
