Job summary

Massachusetts General Hospital seeks a Clinical Pharmacist to join the Internal Medicine and Surgery teams. You will deliver patient-centered care, participate in rounds, and provide drug information to support safe therapy and outcomes.

This role emphasizes medication safety, collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, and ongoing professional development within a flexible, partly hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• Must be eligible for licensure to practice pharmacy in Massachusetts.
• Board Certification by examination or equivalent is preferred and required within 18 months of hire.
• Completion of ASHP-accredited PGY1 and PGY2 Internal Medicine or Pharmacotherapy Residency or Fellowship is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participate in patient care rounds and provide therapeutic recommendations.
• Answer complex drug information questions and respond to hospital emergencies.
• Deliver a wide range of clinical interventions for admitted patients.
• Contribute to policy development, workflow optimization, and clinical program advancement.

Education

PGY1 and PGY2 Internal Medicine or Pharmacotherapy Residency or Fellowship (ASHP-accredited)

Board Certification in relevant specialty (preferred, within 18 months of hire)
