Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking an inpatient Clinical Pharmacist to join the Massachusetts General Hospital team. You will participate in patient care rounds, make therapeutic recommendations, respond to drug information questions, and support care teams to optimize medication therapy for a diverse inpatient population.

Qualifications

• Must be eligible for licensure to practice pharmacy in Massachusetts.
• Board Certification by examination, or equivalent certification, is preferred, required within 18 months of hiring.
• Completion of ASHP-accredited PGY1 and PGY2 Internal Medicine or Pharmacotherapy Pharmacy Residency or Fellowship is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participate in patient care rounds with multidisciplinary teams.
• Make therapeutic recommendations and respond to drug information questions.
• Respond to hospital emergencies and deliver a wide range of clinical interventions for admitted patients.
• Help shape institutional practice through policy development, workflow optimization, and clinical program advancement.
• Provide education/training and act as a preceptor for pharmacy residents and students.
