Job summary

UCHealth Estes Valley Medical Center in Estes Park, CO is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to join the EVMC Pharmacy team on a PRN, on-site basis. This role emphasizes safe, effective medication use, drug information, and collaboration with clinicians to optimize patient outcomes.

The position requires a PharmD or Bachelor’s in Pharmacy, state licensure, and relevant life-support certification. Pay ranges from $59.80 to $83.72 per hour, with no remote option.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy from an accredited school of Pharmacy.
• State licensure as a Pharmacist and any relevant life support certification.
• Life support certification as determined at position level.

Responsibilities

• Ensure medications are prescribed, accurately dispensed, and administered according to best practices.
• Provide drug information and counseling to patients and caregivers regarding medication use, dosage, side effects, and administration instructions.
• Stay current with formularies, new drug therapies, treatment protocols, and emerging medical research.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to facilitate optimal patient outcomes.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy
