We are seeking a full-time, day/evening rotation Inpatient Clinical Pharmacist to work in Central Operations at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania (HUP). The Pharmacist will provide pharmacy services across multiple hospital areas, supervise technician staff, make clinical and operational decisions, and work independently when needed.

Responsibilities
  • Design, recommend, verify, monitor, evaluate, and document patient-specific pharmacotherapy.
  • Prepare and dispense medications following hospital policies.
  • Respond promptly to drug information requests from healthcare providers and patients.
  • Ensure continuity of pharmaceutical care across hospital settings.
  • Participate in adverse drug event management and medical emergencies.
  • Adhere to medication use policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage time effectively to meet practice responsibilities.
Credentials and Education
  • Current pharmacist license in Pennsylvania.
  • Bachelor of Arts or Science or Doctor of Pharmacy Degree from an accredited institution.
  • Successful completion of a PGY1 Pharmacy Residency or 2+ years of inpatient hospital pharmacy experience.
