Job summary

Loma Linda University Health is seeking a Clinical Nurse B - Inpatient to provide and coordinate age-appropriate, patient-centered care with minimal supervision. The CN-B will perform the nursing process, apply evidence-based practice, and contribute to a collaborative team, while supervising licensed and unlicensed staff in a skilled unit.

Requirements include a BSN (ADN or Diploma acceptable if hired as CN-B before 2020), at least one year of nursing experience, and active RN license with BLS.

Qualifications

• BSN required; ADN/diploma acceptable for CN-B hire prior to 2020.
• Minimum of one year experience in nursing.
• Licensure and certifications as defined by unit/department.
• Good command of English; Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate patient-centered care in a fast-paced setting.
• Perform nursing process: assessment, care planning, intervention, evaluation.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed staff.
• May participate in on-call rotation and Shift Coordinator role.
