Qualifikationen

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry.
• Fellowship training in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry.
• Eligible for medical licensure in Massachusetts.
• DEA registration and Massachusetts Controlled Substance Registration.
• Commitment to patient-centered, family-focused care.
• Exemplary communication, teamwork and leadership.

Aufgaben

• Provide psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for children and adolescents admitted to the inpatient psychiatric unit.
• Develop and oversee individualized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based practices.
• Conduct psychiatric assessments, medication management, and ongoing treatment planning.
• Lead multidisciplinary treatment team meetings and collaborate with behavioral health clinicians, nursing staff, therapists, social workers, and care coordinators.
• Partner with patients and families to develop safe discharge plans and ensure continuity of care.
• Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant medical documentation utilizing the EPIC electronic medical record.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives that promote patient safety, clinical excellence, and outstanding patient outcomes.
• Supervise and teach medical students, residents, and other learners as appropriate.
• Foster a culture of compassion, professionalism, collaboration, and respect throughout the department.
