We are hiring a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant at Frazier Rehabilitation Institute

Shift Options: Part Time 1st shift

Our experienced team specializes in care and recovery for patients who have experienced brain injury, movement disorders, spinal cord injuries, stroke, and other debilitating conditions. We provide services for individuals across the age spectrum – from pediatric to geriatric – and with the highest level of acuity, including patients who require mechanical ventilation.

Responsibilities

A paraprofessional under the direction and supervision of the occupational therapist who provides selected occupational therapy interventions as indicated per treatment plan. He/she will progress patients toward established goals and maintain communication with the occupational therapist regarding each patient’s status. The assistant will also provide appropriate education to patients and/or family.

Qualifications

Education / Accreditation / Licensure (required & preferred):

  • Associate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited OT school.
  • Registered with the Kentucky State Board of Occupational Therapy.

Experience (required and preferred):

  • Acute care, trauma care experience, and/or rehab experience preferred.

Certification

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA) (required)
