Qualifications

• RN licensure in Alabama is required.
• RN preferred; LPN licensure acceptable for eligibility.
• CCDS or coding certification is highly desired or willingness to complete after employment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct concurrent inpatient record reviews to ensure accurate documentation of diagnoses and procedures.
• Collaborate with physicians, clinicians and leaders to improve documentation for quality and reimbursement.
• Support regulatory compliance and coding integrity through chart reviews and education.
