Qualifications

• Active Rhode Island RN or LVN license required.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience.
• Ability to commute to Johnston, RI office.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong analytical and customer-service focus required.
• Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Comply with Case Management Department policies and procedures.
• Achieve high compliance with utilization management standards.
• Review medical records to determine medical necessity and level of care.
• Collaborate with hospitalists and discharge planners to establish discharge plans.
• Coordinate reviews and provide accurate inpatient admission reporting to leadership.
• Educate and train staff and cross-functional departments as needed.
• Communicate outcomes to providers and members per regulatory requirements.
