Job summary

Qualifications

• Direct patient care tasks require good reading and writing skills.
• Ability to read and follow oral and written instructions, and perform basic math.
• Must have CPR training and meet hospital prerequisites.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care and documents care activities.
• Participates in quality and patient satisfaction initiatives.
• Documents vital signs, I&O, and treatments; reports changes to nursing staff.
• Participates in unit activity such as supply stocking and equipment cleaning.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
